Return to Face to Face Masses at St Joseph's Newtown
 
Acceptance Sydney is excited to announce a return to Friday night Mass for LGBTIQ+ Catholics, their family and friends in person at St Joseph's Newtown on the first Friday of each month starting on 4 June  at 8pm. 

The Mass will take place as a Covid-Safe event in full compliance with the Newtown Parish Covid-Safe Plan noted below, as each person's safety and health is our priority.* 
 
Acceptance Sydney looks forward to welcoming you back to Mass for a beautiful and spiritual experience. 
 
*All Attendees at Newtown Parish Masses are requested to follow the below Covid-Safe Plan requirements
  • Register attendance on arrival via the Service NSW App - Covid-Safe Check-in 
  • Use hand sanitiser as you enter the Church (this is provided at the entrance to the church)
  • Ensure social distancing of 1.5 meters is maintained between each person at all times (designated pews/seating will be allocated upon arrival)
  • Each person is asked to wipe down their pew before they leave (cleaning product is provided)
  • There will be no supper after Mass to ensure Covid safety and people are asked to move outside the church at the conclusion of Mass 
  • Church doors need to be closed during Mass so please arrive in good time. The church will be opened from 7.30pm
  • Mask wearing is recommended
  • Please avoid attending If you are feeling unwell
