Everyone is warmly invited to attend the Friday Night 7pm parish Mass at St Joseph's Church Newtown on the first Friday of each month.

St Joseph’s is on the corner of Station and Bedford Streets Newtown.

Driving

If driving, coming via Kingston Road turning into Bedford Street works quite well.

Public Transport

TRAINS: Trains from Central Station to Newtown Station leave roughly every 15 minutes from Platform 19 and less often on Platform 12 and 18. 

BUSES: Buses come often from Stand C Railway Square and stop outside Newtown Station. Route numbers are 422, 423, 426, 428 and M30

If walking from Newtown Station, directly opposite the station is “The Hub” theatre and Newtown Neighbourhood Centre. Just cross the road and turn left (when facing the Hub theatre) and walk down Bedford Street for a couple of blocks until you reach station street. Bedford Street follows the train tracks.
